"Are End Pin Wheels the best and safest way to transport your bass?"

Are Bass Wheels Difficult to Maneuver and Steer?

This is a question that you'll need to decide for yourself as you research bass wheels. After doing some online Google searches and forum browsing it appears that some bass wheels can be difficult to maneuver and steer. A lot of that is probably inherent to the overall design of a bass wheel: a relatively large and bulky object riding on a relatively small, non-pivoting wheel.

So, are bass wheels inherently difficult to steer, or is it just that some people have learned how to handle them? Probably a combination of the two.

How Does the Bass Buggie Handle?

The Bass Buggie, as a two-wheeled solution, provides a much more stable base. Because all of the weight of the bass is not on one point, it is much easier to steer and turn. Even first-time users are able to successfully maneuver the buggie (KC Strings has a video showing a first-time user maneuvering a bass with the buggie - it is half-way through the "setup" video). Actually, handling the buggie is very similar to handling a two-wheeled hand-truck.
